BIOGRAPHY
With over five years of experience as a documentary, street and fashion photographer, Jan Han continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
With European as well as Asian ethnic background his work often focuses on cultural shifting identities and humanism.
His artistic senses were shaped through painting alla prima on canvas by practicing a deep appreciation for composition, light and form. This unique blend of skill results in images that evoke the beauty of carefully composed paintings. His journey is the example of an enduring influence of a painters eye in a digital age.
Throughout his career, the photographer has achieved several notable milestones. His work was recently exhibited at the Corinth Museum in Greece, where he received the award of excellence for delving into the theme “perpetual dance”, an interaction of humans and nature.
Beyond creating art, he also worked as a curator for the photo gallery Petra Gut Contemporary in Zurich. Presently editorial director and photographer for a magazine called "DerZiner".
